Girl Childhood Day:
Oct. 08, 2016
Every year Sept 8th is celebrated as the International Girl Child Day. In our Society even to this day girl children are not welcomed much nor accepted by the family. She is still considered as a burden to the society. Girl child day is to make known to the society the value, worth and importance of girl child. This day is specially being dedicated to them. As we look around in today's world we see that the girls are standing first in educational and sports fields. They are performing much better than boys, though they are not enjoying equal rights with the boys. Girls need to be encouraged and appreciated so they can achieve many more things in the society. In order to make the girls feel important and encourage them KDSSS had organized the girl child day celebrated at ZP High School Allugunda, in Veldurthi, Mandal. Varieties of games were conducted for the girls from 6th to 10th standard and winners were given prizes as well. We could create an awareness in girls that they are equal to boys and are important and they have all capacity to come up in life without giving up in any stages of life, at any circumstance of life but to shine forth and make known to the world their worth and value as girls. The school management In-charge H.M. Swayam Prabha and other staff were very much co-operative and they were grateful to KDSSS for this beautiful programme organized for their students. The girls were made feel that they are special and recognized. They were very happy and are thankful to KDSSS.
